New Bridge To Cross Panama Canal

The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) has handed over the contract to Vinci Construction Grand's Projects to build a bridge over the strategic canal but in the Atlantic area.

The two bridges that are currently in the canal area are the famous Bridge of the Americas and the bridge Centenario - but both are in the Pacific area of the inter-oceanic canal.

The new bridge will be built in a place three kilometers north from the current lock of Gatun lake and the new complex that shapes the extension of the canal, which will allow the crossing of ships with a deep draft, known as "Pospanamax".

The works will start immediately and the 46 meters of the bridge will stretch out from Thelma King Avenue in the city of Colon to the opposite canal bank.

According to the authorities, the company has a deadline of three years to build and open the bridge, which is of the delta kind, tightened twice with the shape of an upside down Y and four lanes. It will be 75 meters high over sea level.

Paved road to Pedasi

Here at Costa Pedasi we are very happy to announce the start of four new homes, all in various stages of construction. This brings to a total of fifteen homes with another four homes slated to be started in the near future.

Costa Pedasi is growing at a very steady pace with the Phase Two roads to begin any day now. The construction of a walkway to the beach with parks and benches is almost in completion.

Finally we are very very happy to announce the completion of the paved road from the beautiful town of Pedasi to Costa Pedasi which now makes it a five minute drive for shopping, medical facilities, restaurants, and hotels.
